MOBILE AND HANDHELD RADIOS from iCOM AMERICA

Two-Way Radios for Analog, Digital (P25), WiFi, LTE and Satellite voice communications in the palm of your hand!

The land mobile communications industry is vast, covering everything from military and public safety radios to everyday business two-way equipment like you’d find in a retail store. Icom America’s land mobile division is its youngest – and its largest.

Icom is deeply committed to P25, the North American digital standard for public safety communications interoperability. Icom’s latest P25 radios now offers 7/800 MHz, P25 trunking, bringing more functionality to this growing product line.

Icom is also devoted to IDAS™, its analog + digital line of land mobile radio equipment. IDAS™ uses the NXDN™ protocol to bring next-generation digital capabilities to the industry, all while retaining analog legacy performance. IDAS™ is all about making today’s radios more functional–all at a better value than ever before.

LTE RADIOS

Talk to anyone, anywhere on one of the most trusted LTE networks in the world.

Using an existing LTE (4G) and 3G network, iCOM LTE radios are able to provide a network with wide area coverage capabilities.  The LTE radios do not require their own repeaters or IP network which reduces the cost of building and maintaining a wide area radio network.

SATELLITE RADIOS

Talk to anyone, anywhere, on the planet with satellite enabled handheld and mobile radios

Satellite PTT (Push-to-Talk) is a two-way radio system that uses the Iridium satellite network.  It can be used as a communication tool in remote, isolated areas where there are no mobile phones or landline network infrastructure.  Even if terrestrial network infrastructure is rendered unusable by human or natural disasters, Satellite PTT can provide a stable back-up, independent from other networks.  Also, unlike satellite phones, IC-SAT100 users can immediately start talking to all the radios in the same talkgroup, with just a push of the transmit button!
